VIMID Technician Wins First Prize at the SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship 2026

Representing Vietnam at SINOTRUK’s international technical competition, VIMID technicians Nguyen Duy Hien and Vu Trong Mang delivered outstanding performances at the second SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship. Nguyen Duy Hien secured First Prize in the electrical practical assessment, marking a proud achievement for VIMID and Vietnam while demonstrating the technical expertise, professional competence and capabilities of VIMID’s technical workforce on the international stage.

VIMID Technicians Demonstrate Their Expertise on the International Stage

Held in Jinan, China, the SINOTRUK Global “Elite Team” Championship 2026 brought together outstanding technical and training personnel from across SINOTRUK’s global network, representing markets including Russia, China, Australia, South Africa and the Czech Republic. Taking place from 12 to 18 September, the second edition of the championship provided an international platform for comprehensively assessing technical knowledge, practical skills and teamwork across SINOTRUK’s global technical workforce.

Representing Vietnam at this year’s competition, VIMID technicians Vu Trong Mang and Nguyen Duy Hien completed the assessments with confidence, enthusiasm and strong technical capabilities. Among the highlights, Nguyen Duy Hien won First Prize in the electrical practical assessment, securing a significant achievement for VIMID and Vietnam.

Going beyond conventional skills testing, the championship featured a comprehensive assessment programme covering three key areas: technical knowledge presentations, integrated team tasks, and practical mechanical and electrical assessments.

Competing in an environment that demanded technical knowledge, precision, speed, teamwork and strict adherence to safety procedures, the VIMID technicians demonstrated strong practical capabilities and professional expertise, reinforcing the quality of VIMID’s technical workforce on the international stage.

In 2025, Nguyen Duy Hien was the sole representative from Vietnam at the SINOTRUK Global Technician Skills Championship Finals, where he received the Excellent Award. The latest achievement further demonstrates the technical capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement within VIMID’s technical workforce, while highlighting the value of sustained investment in professional training, technology updates and higher service standards.
