Leadership from SINOTRUK Group visited and work with VIMID

Recently, during an official business trip to Vietnam from February 6, 2023, the delegation from SINOTRUK Group – China’s leading manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks – paid a visit and held a working session with Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID), the officially authorized representative of SINOTRUK in Vietnam.

VIMID was honored to welcome the official visit of the high-level delegation from SINOTRUK. During their business trip, the delegation visited VIMID’s headquarters as well as several service stations that form part of VIMID’s nationwide network of 22 service stations and branches, including branches in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Tay Do, West Hanoi, East Hanoi, Hai Phong, and others.

The delegation visited VIMID’s service stations network across various provinces and cities in Vietnam.

During the working session, Mr. Liu Wei emphasized that the purpose of the trip was to gain deeper insights into VIMID’s operational procedures, service station management, and customer feedback on sales performance and service quality. The visit also focused on reviewing VIMID’s expansion plans, product development initiatives, and service enhancement strategies, in order to assess the growth potential of the Vietnamese market — one of SINOTRUK’s key export destinations.

Throughout the visit, Mr. Liu Wei and the delegation conducted comprehensive assessments of VIMID’s facilities, equipment, truck warehouses, and spare parts warehouses across multiple service stations.

The delegation visited the warehouse of genuine SINOTRUK spare parts that VIMID distributed to the Vietnamese market.

They also visited on-site construction facilities and directly met with customers using SINOTRUK’s officially authorized products distributed by VIMID — including tractor units, trucks, dump trucks, and special-purpose vehicles — as well as after-sales service users.

The delegation also presented gifts from SINOTRUK to valued customers.

Leaders from SINOTRUK also expressed strong interest in training programs, technical skill development, and service quality improvement, aiming to enhance professionalism and strengthen customer and partner confidence in the officially authorized SINOTRUK service network operated by VIMID.

During the working session, representatives of SINOTRUK expressed strong confidence in VIMID’s capacity and capabilities, highly appreciating its modern infrastructure, sales and service facilities, and operational management systems. In particular, they praised VIMID’s large-scale genuine spare parts warehouse, which is directly imported from SINOTRUK’s manufacturing plants, reaffirming VIMID’s position as SINOTRUK’s officially authorized distributor in Vietnam. This authorization covers the distribution, warranty, and after-sales services for SINOTRUK products nationwide, ensuring that all customer services provided by VIMID meet SINOTRUK’s global standards of excellence.

While acknowledging the challenges and opportunities in the upcoming period, Mr. Nguyen Vu Tru – CEO of VIMID, affirmed that the company will continue to strengthen its cooperation with SINOTRUK through joint research and product development, diversifying product lines, enhancing technical expertise, and expanding the nationwide distribution and service stations network to further improve customer experience and competitiveness for the HOWO VIMID brand in Vietnam.

Both parties emphasized the importance of promoting a comprehensive partnership between VIMID and SINOTRUK, aiming toward sustainable development, steady sales growth, and an expanded market share for HOWO VIMID in the Vietnamese market.
