Hanoi Young Business Association Visits VIMID: Strengthening Connections – Fostering Sustainable Collaboration

Working Session Between VIMID Leadership and the Hanoi Young Business Association (HANOIBA)
During the visit and working session, VIMID presented its outstanding achievements over more than 15 years of development, along with its vision for innovation and strategic plans for the coming phase. A key highlight was the company’s core project — a truck manufacturing and assembly plant in the Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park (Hai Phong), with an annual capacity of 10,000 products, covering an area of 10 hectares and a total investment of approximately USD 50 million. This marks a strategic milestone that emphasises VIMID’s ambition to master the value chain, enhance its competitive capabilities, and gradually realize the goal of sustainable growth for Vietnam’s transportation industry.
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to improving operational efficiency while actively seeking partnership opportunities and expanding its network within the young business community. Through such initiatives, VIMID aims to contribute to building a dynamic, innovative, and socially responsible business environment — one that aligns with the ongoing trends of digital transformation and deeper international integration.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Vu Tru, Chairman of the Board of VIMID, expressed his appreciation for the visit from HANOIBA’s leadership and shared insights into VIMID’s growth journey as a leading importer and distributor of medium and heavy-duty trucks in Vietnam. He emphasized the vital importance of solidarity and collaboration within Hanoi’s young business community, considering it a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Such cooperation, he noted, enables enterprises to overcome challenges, seize emerging opportunities effectively, and collectively strengthen competitiveness while contributing to the overall development of the national economy.

He reaffirmed that HANOIBA remains committed to listening to and supporting its members’ initiatives, proactively connecting resources, and fostering collaborations that empower the Hanoi young business community to develop sustainably and collectively thrive.
The meeting concluded with moments of friendly exchange, commemorative photos, and warm handshakes — symbolizing a spirit of cooperation and shared growth. Built on openness and mutual respect, the session was not only an opportunity for experience sharing but also a meaningful step toward future collaborative projects between VIMID and HANOIBA.
