Amid the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly in southern provinces, VIMID Ho Chi Minh, VIMID Dong Nai, and VIMID Tay Do branches continue to operate as usual while actively implementing a range of measures to ensure the health and safety of employees, partners, and customers visiting for business.

Hand sanitization and temperature checks for all employees and visitors
All employees are required to have their temperature checked and sanitize their hands before entering the workplace. Customers and partners visiting the branches are guided on Covid-19 prevention measures and required to complete health declarations. The company regularly disinfects all office and factory areas, maintains 5S hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment, and mandates that 100% of employees and visitors wear masks throughout their time on-site. Workstations are arranged with physical distancing in mind to minimize the risk of infection.

Employees strictly follow mask-wearing and physical distancing measures
To achieve the dual objectives of maintaining business operations while effectively preventing Covid-19, the Company’s Board of Directors has instructed the Covid-19 Prevention Task Force to develop a scenario-based contingency plan with appropriate response measures. For situations where no cases have been reported within the company, the assigned departments are required to proactively implement preventive measures, enhance monitoring, and promptly detect any suspected cases.
In the event of a confirmed case within the company, immediate coordination with local health authorities at the ward and commune levels is carried out to conduct rapid contact tracing, zoning, isolation, and thorough containment to limit further transmission. If multiple cases occur or an outbreak spreads within the company, rapid response measures are deployed in collaboration with relevant authorities to implement area lockdowns and timely interventions to manage and contain the situation effectively.

Informational posters on Covid-19 prevention have been placed in highly visible areas throughout the workplace.
VIMID emphasizes constant vigilance, avoiding complacency in pandemic control. The company is committed to working alongside the Vietnamese government and citizens to control the outbreak, while maintaining business continuity and providing stable employment for its workforce.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai have implemented social distancing under Directive 16 starting at 00:00 on July 9, 2021. In Vinh Long, social distancing measures began at 12:00 on July 9, 2021.
