CafeF Lists is an annual ranking and recognition system developed using transparent and accurate data to honor companies making outstanding contributions to the State budget and the broader economy. According to the rankings published by CafeF, nine private-sector automotive companies contributed more than VND 42 trillion, equivalent to approximately 49% of the automotive group’s total contributions within the VNTAX 200 ranking. This underscores the increasingly prominent role of private enterprises across the automotive manufacturing, assembly, importation, distribution and services value chain.

CafeF Lists is expected to announce the PRIVATE 100 ranking—Vietnam’s Top 100 private enterprises by State budget contributions—and the VNTAX 200 ranking—Vietnam’s Top 200 contributors to the State budget across the state-owned, private and foreign-invested sectors.

VIMID Powers Ahead in a New Growth Cycle

Over the past three years, VIMID’s State budget contributions increased from VND 325 billion in 2023 to VND 592 billion in 2024 and VND 1.428 trillion in 2025. Its contributions more than quadrupled in just two years, in line with the Company’s breakthrough business growth.

According to VIMID’s audited consolidated financial statements for 2025, revenue reached VND 8.0506 trillion, while profit before tax stood at approximately VND 401.5 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 107% and 354.3%, respectively. At the time of disclosure, these were the highest revenue and profit-before-tax figures recorded since VIMID’s establishment, reflecting simultaneous improvements in market scale, operational capabilities and business efficiency.

This growth momentum continued into 2026. In the first six months of the year, VIMID recorded revenue of more than VND 7 trillion, fulfilling 74% of its full-year target. Profit before tax reached VND 515.6 billion, equivalent to 112% of the Company’s full-year profit target for 2026. In the second quarter alone, VIMID generated VND 4.256 trillion in revenue and VND 307.4 billion in profit before tax, both setting new quarterly records in the Company’s history.

During the first six months of 2026, VIMID’s tax payments continued to rise, exceeding VND 1.8 trillion. These positive results were driven by a combination of favorable macroeconomic conditions, growth in the transportation market and the solid foundation VIMID has built over more than 16 years. Amid significant market developments, VIMID has capitalized on its competitive advantages, including strong brand credibility, a diverse commercial vehicle portfolio designed to meet a broad range of operational requirements, robust vehicle and spare-parts supply capabilities, and a nationwide network of more than 23 3S service stations and authorized dealers. Together, these capabilities enable the Company to provide consistent customer support throughout the entire vehicle life cycle.

Accelerating Green Development and Deepening Participation in the Value Chain

Building on its leading position in Vietnam’s medium- and heavy-duty truck market and after-sales service sector, VIMID continues to diversify its product portfolio—including its new light-duty truck segment—while continuously enhancing product and service quality to better serve customers.

Alongside business growth, VIMID is accelerating strategic initiatives to expand its role in the commercial vehicle value chain, pursuing long-term development underpinned by technology, manufacturing and the green transition.

On July 22, 2026, VIMID and SINOTRUK signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop a green and smart truck ecosystem in Vietnam. The following day, on July 23, 2026, VIMID held the groundbreaking ceremony for the VMASS Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Plant in the Hai Phong Free Trade Zone, marking a clear transition from distribution toward deeper participation in the supply chain.

Expected to commence operations in 2028, VMASS is anticipated to create a new growth engine for VIMID while enhancing Vietnam’s domestic commercial vehicle manufacturing capacity, fostering supporting industries, creating employment, contributing to the State budget and expanding the participation of Vietnamese enterprises in regional supply chains.
