VIMID and SINOTRUK Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Advance the Green and Intelligent Truck Ecosystem in Vietnam

On July 22, 2026, Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID) and SINOTRUK officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement during the SINOTRUK New Energy Partners Conference, organized by Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SDHi)—SINOTRUK’s parent company and one of the world’s leading multinational industrial groups.

The signing marks a new stage in the partnership between VIMID and SINOTRUK following more than 16 years of cooperation in the Vietnamese market. Building on their strong strategic partnership, the two companies agreed to deepen their cooperation and broaden its scope to include research, product development, and the deployment of green and intelligent transportation solutions tailored to the practical needs of Vietnamese businesses.

A key focus of the partnership is to establish the conditions required for the large-scale deployment of new energy trucks in Vietnam.
