VIMID ACHIEVES AN IMPRESSIVE RISE IN VIETNAM’S TOP 500 LARGEST ENTERPRISES 2023
Continuing its success after being honored in the VNR500 Ranking – Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam 2022, Vietnam Machine Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID) has once again been recognized in 2023. On November 17, 2023, VIMID was officially listed for the second consecutive year, climbing 51 places to reach rank #175 in the VNR500 – Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam 2023, marking a remarkable achievement in its growth journey.

This marks the 17th consecutive year that the VNR500 Ranking has been announced by Vietnam Report JSC in collaboration with VietNamNet, based on independent research and assessment conducted by Vietnam Report. The VNR500 list aims to identify, recognize, and honor large-scale enterprises that have maintained effective and stable business operations — those demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and outstanding performance amid the continuous fluctuations of both domestic and global economies.
After a thorough evaluation process following the Fortune 500 (US) model — considering key criteria such as total revenue, total assets, workforce size, growth rate, profitability, and corporate reputation in the media — VIMID has made a remarkable leap in this year’s ranking. The company rose from #226 (2022) to #175 (2023) in the Top 500 Largest Private Enterprises in Vietnam, and from #374 (2022) to #315 (2023) in the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam (including state-owned, FDI, and private sectors).
This achievement is a testament to the unwavering efforts of VIMID’s leadership and its nearly 400 employees, who have remained steadfast through the challenges of the transport industry and the broader global economic downturn in 2023.
This objective evaluation has recognized VIMID’s remarkable achievements over the past year. As of the first nine months of 2023, VIMID recorded a cumulative revenue of VND 1,637 billion, contributing nearly VND 300 billion to the State budget. The company has maintained its No.1 market share in Vietnam’s truck segment, reaffirming its leading position in the field of transport, truck trading, and the production and distribution of spare parts, accessories, and semi-trailers. This accomplishment once again highlights VIMID’s strong brand reputation within the business community and among international investors — serving as a driving force for the company to further expand in both scale and quality, while continuing to build long-term trust and sustainable value for society.
Founded in 2010, VIMID has spent over a decade steadily growing and creating sustainable value. The company has established itself as a leading enterprise in Vietnam’s medium and heavy-duty truck industry, consistently pursuing its mission to “Provide comprehensive transport solutions for individuals, organizations, and freight businesses across Vietnam.”
VIMID proudly delivers high-quality products, dedicated customer service, and operates a professional 3S service network spanning over 20 provinces and cities nationwide.
