As part of a working program with key enterprises engaged in import–export activities and making significant contributions to the state budget, a delegation from the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments and agencies, visited and held a working session with VIMID (Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company – Stock code: VVS). The visit took place in an open and professional atmosphere, marking a notable milestone in VIMID’s journey of growth and contribution to socio-economic development.

The delegation, led by Mr. Le Van Anh, Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, included representatives from the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction, Department of Finance, Quang Ninh Customs Department, and other authorities. During the visit, provincial leaders and officials were briefed on VIMID’s overall business operations.
VIMID shared that in recent years, the company has continuously expanded its scale of operations and enhanced its capacity to deliver products and services in Vietnam’s transport and logistics sector. Import activities have also been strengthened, playing a key role in its overall growth strategy. In 2025, VIMID recorded net revenue of VND 8,050.6 billion, up 107% compared to 2024, while its contribution to the state budget reached nearly VND 1,500 billion, representing a 150% increase year-on-year—demonstrating strong and sustainable growth.

Mr. Le Van Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated VIMID’s achievements, particularly its significant contributions to import–export activities and its strong compliance with tax obligations.
During the session, the delegation also listened to challenges faced by VIMID and the broader business community in the sector, particularly those related to business operations and import–export activities.
At the same time, the delegation recognized VIMID’s constructive proposals and reaffirmed that Quang Ninh Province highly values the role of enterprises in driving economic growth, and remains committed to creating favorable conditions to support business development.
Mr. Le Van Anh further emphasized the province’s policy direction to develop attractive mechanisms and incentives to attract enterprises, especially those with strengths in import–export, logistics, and supporting industries. With its strategic location and well-developed infrastructure, Quang Ninh is positioned as a promising destination for businesses seeking to expand their operations.
For its part, VIMID expressed appreciation for the opportunity and reaffirmed its commitment to further enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing import–export activities, and increasing contributions to the state budget and the broader economy. Looking ahead, VIMID plans to implement specific initiatives to strengthen its import–export operations in Quang Ninh, contributing to sustainable growth for both the company and the locality.
