EXTERIOR & INTERIOR  DESIGN

Exterior

The truck features a redesigned grille with a more harmonious appearance, giving it a stronger and more modern look than previous HOWO mixer trucks in the Vietnamese market. The V7-X cabin is the latest upgraded version, inheriting many features and designs based on VOLVO cabin safety technology. The cabin is precisely engineered, robust, and durable. The wider field of vision provides greater safety for the driver during operation.

Exterior details:

  • The solid iron front bumper is designed for construction site applications. Its height has been raised by more than 10 cm compared to previous-generation mixer trucks, making it better suited for rough jobsite conditions. Minor bumper contact is no longer a concern, and the bumper design is extremely durable. The towing hook has been repositioned directly onto the chassis frame, eliminating concerns about the bumper being damaged during towing as with older models.
  • To enhance operational safety, SINOTRUK has upgraded the truck with a 4-camera surround-view system featuring ultra-wide viewing angles. This is the first time a HOWO concrete mixer truck in Vietnam has been equipped with a factory-installed 4-camera system, raising safety to a new level. The 4-camera system is integrated into a large 14-inch LCD.
  • The enlarged rearview mirrors feature 4-way electric adjustment and heating functions.
  • The cabin can be tilted electrically and is equipped with an engine start control unit mounted below.
  • Daytime running lights use LED technology, while turn signals, fog lights, and position lights use halogen bulbs. The main headlights are BI-XENON.

Interior

The cabin is spacious, featuring dark-tone colors combined with chrome accents arranged in a well-organized layout. Modern patterns on the headliner and sleeper bed create a luxurious and refined interior atmosphere.

  • The smart key system replaces the traditional mechanical key. By simply pressing and holding the control from outside the truck, the windows automatically go up or down, reducing heat buildup inside the cabin on sunny days.
  • The aesthetically designed 4-spoke steering wheel integrates multiple functions, including screen controls, hands-free calling, and convenient cruise control operation.
  • The LCD connects to smartphones via Carbit Link and Bluetooth, supports the 4-camera system, multitasking functions, Wi-Fi, and more—making this one of the most technologically advanced mixer truck cabins available.
  • The automatic air conditioning system is stylish and easy to operate. Instead of traditional push buttons, the system now uses simple rotary controls.
  • Additional soundproofing seals and water-resistant insulation improve cabin quietness and reduce engine noise. An engine dust barrier is also included.
  • The low-roof V7X cabin features a 700 mm wide sleeper bed. A storage compartment is integrated beneath the bed, using lightweight, user-friendly materials that also reduce cabin noise.
  • The driver’s seat is an air suspension seat with multiple adjustment modes, premium materials, and a more refined design. It also features automatic seat height adjustment.
  • The passenger seat is a standard seat but is also made from high-quality materials.

SUSPENSION & CHASSIS

Suspension System:

  • Front axle uses an 11-leaf spring pack, 16 mm thick, with hydraulic shock absorbers on axles 1 and 2, plus a stabilizer bar on axle 1
  • Rear axle uses a 12-leaf spring pack with 25 mm thick leaves and dual spring brackets

Chassis System:

The chassis is significantly larger and thicker than competing products currently on the market. While many competitors only offer double-layer chassis thicknesses of 8+5 mm or 8+4 mm, the V7X 8×4 features an 8+8 mm double-layer chassis. Combined with a width of up to 300 mm, it delivers outstanding strength and stability.

The truck is equipped with a V-shaped axle stabilizer bar, a design already popular in the Vietnamese market. This stabilizer helps keep the chassis more stable, reduces oscillation differences between both sides of the chassis, and works together with drum and cabin stabilization systems to improve lateral stability.

MIXING DRUM & HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

  • Material: NM300TP steel

Compared to the 520JJ wear-resistant steel commonly used on today’s mixer trucks, NM300TP steel offers significantly greater strength and hardness. As a result, the service life of the mixing drum is approximately 2.5–3 times longer.

  • Concrete loading speed: >3 m³/minute
  • Residual material ratio: <1%
  • The tank uses two large-diameter rollers with high load capacity and long service life, ensuring effective mixing performance.
  • The heavy-duty drum support frame ensures stable operation on the road.
  • The side protection system is strong and durable, effectively protecting internal components. Made from aluminum alloy, it reduces overall weight while maintaining safety.

The V7X mixer truck uses a highly reliable hydraulic system, including a PMP reducer gearbox and an Eaton hydraulic pump.

  • The PMP reducer is manufactured using Italian technology with high precision. Its heat-treated gear structure and optimized design provide accurate engagement, high load capacity, low wear, stable performance, and high transmission efficiency. These advantages far exceed those of locally made Chinese hydraulic pumps.
  • The Eaton pump is manufactured according to European standards and technology, delivering stable and precise flow, high pump pressure, smooth operation, low noise, long service life, and easy maintenance or replacement.

This hydraulic combination ensures concrete quality, improves the stability and safety of the mixing drum during operation, and increases the lifespan of the hydraulic system, thereby reducing repair, maintenance, and operating costs.

Other Specifications

The V7X 380 12m³ Concrete Mixer Truck is also equipped with a wet air filter for the intake system before air enters the engine. This wet filter improves engine performance and environmental protection in several ways:

  • Improved engine performance: Protects the engine from impurities in the air, improves the air-fuel mixing process, increases air pressure into the cylinders, enhances combustion efficiency, and boosts thermal efficiency and engine output.
  • Reduced fuel consumption and lower noise: By improving intake air quality, the wet filter helps create a more efficient combustible mixture, reduces fuel usage, minimizes heat particles formed during compression, reduces knocking, and significantly lowers noise and vibration during operation.
  • Environmental protection: Better air-fuel mixing results in more complete combustion, reducing CO and PM emissions released into the environment.
