The HOWO TH7 350 8×4 Tarpaulin Frame Cargo Truck with a 9.7 m cargo body is a new model in the HOWO MAN TH7 series of cargo trucks. It inherits the outstanding advantages of the TH7 cab, combined with SINOTRUK’s new-generation MAN-technology engine, transmission and axle systems.

With a 16–19-ton payload capacity, the HOWO TH7 350 8×4 with a 9.7 m Tarpaulin Frame cargo body is designed to meet a wide range of cargo transportation requirements, including long-distance routes, steep roads and mixed road conditions.

EXTERIOR

• Distinctive exterior design: The truck features the TH7 cab with a distinctive and modern exterior design.
• Headlamp assembly: The square Full-LED headlamp assembly is introduced for the first time on a SINOTRUK truck model in the Vietnamese market. It provides high-intensity illumination, low power consumption, high durability and stable performance.
• Front grille: Designed in a V-shape with three horizontal chrome-plated accents and multiple aerodynamic air channels. The grille features a robust, modern design that embodies the distinctive HOWO styling.
• Brand identification: The SINOTRUK triangular logo is positioned on the front grille, while the TH7 model designation is located on the driver’s-side door.
• Front grille grab handle: A grab handle is integrated into the front grille to facilitate inspection and maintenance.
• Mirrors: The exterior mirrors and other auxiliary mirrors follow the design used on the A7 and T7H models. The main rear-view mirrors feature four-way electric adjustment and mirror heating.
• Electric cabin tilt: The cab can be raised and lowered electrically.
• Cab suspension: The cab is supported by a four-air-bag suspension system, with two air bags at the front and two at the rear.

INTERIOR

• New cabin and interior design: The cab and interior have been completely redesigned, featuring a sophisticated and modern style.
• Premium interior: The interior combines luxury and refinement, delivering an enhanced driving experience.
• Premium TH7 air-suspension driver’s seat: The TH7 premium air-suspension seat provides excellent seating comfort, with air cushions supporting the back and spine and multiple adjustment functions to suit individual driver requirements.
• Spacious cab: The cab offers class-leading interior space, with approximately 2 m of height from the floor to the cab roof. The low cab floor optimizes available space and facilitates comfortable movement inside the cab.
• Center control panel: The center control panel has been redesigned while retaining the functions previously available on the T7H/A7. The parking brake and trailer brake controls have been relocated to the upper section. The vehicle is also equipped with a new touchscreen LCD display and a new instrument cluster featuring forward/reverse gear indication, speed display and safety warnings.
• Steering wheel: The newly designed four-spoke steering wheel provides a comfortable grip and integrates multiple controls, including volume adjustment, Bluetooth phone connectivity, instrument cluster controls, LCD display controls and cruise control.

ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND AXLE SYSTEMS

MC07H Engine

• MC07H.35-50 (350 HP), four-stroke, six-cylinder inline, turbocharged.
• Incorporates MAN technology and advanced materials for high durability and reliability.
• B10 engine life: up to 1.5 million km.

HW13709XSTC2L Transmission

• Type: Aluminum-alloy housing, 9 forward speeds and 1 reverse speed, with a maximum input torque of 1,350 N·m.
• The transmission features helical gears, two countershafts and synchronizers. Its aluminum housing provides effective heat dissipation, while the transmission design contributes to smoother gear shifting, improved vehicle drivability, high durability and reliable operation.

MAN-Technology Axle System

• Front axle: HF VGD71, with a maximum load capacity of 7.1 tonnes.
• Rear axle: MCJ11BGY MAN-technology drive axle, with a maximum load capacity of 11 tonnes.

CARGO BODY SPECIFICATIONS

• Internal cargo body dimensions: 9,700 × 2,360 × 830/2,530 mm.
• Cargo body construction: Steel floor frame; the cargo body is divided into four sections; the floor is made of 2.0 mm flat steel sheet; the outer walls are clad in 0.6 mm embossed stainless steel sheet.

Suspension System

• Front suspension: Dependent suspension with multi-leaf springs, hydraulic shock absorbers and a stabilizer bar; 9-leaf spring pack.
• Rear suspension: Dependent suspension with multi-leaf springs and a stabilizer bar; 12-leaf spring pack.

• Tyres: 12R22.5 steel-belted tyres.
• Fuel tank: 600 L aluminum-alloy fuel tank with a protective fuel-tank cover.
• Chassis: 8+4 double-layer chassis, manufactured from premium high-strength steel developed by SINOTRUK.
• Front and rear stabilizer cross-members: The front and rear stabilizer cross-members enhance chassis and front/rear undercarriage stability, particularly at high speeds and on difficult road surfaces. By reducing the forces transmitted to the undercarriage and axle components, the stabilizer system helps improve vehicle stability and extend the service life of axle stabilizer bushings, support bushings and undercarriage components.
