VIMID Conducts Annual Health Check-ups for Employees Nationwide in 2023
VIMID understands that “A sustainable enterprise is one with a healthy workforce.” Therefore, organizing annual health check-ups for employees has always been a top priority. This year, the health check-ups took place from November 23 to November 30, 2023, across the country.
In Hanoi, VIMID partnered with Hanoi Medical University Hospital, a prestigious medical institution with top-tier doctors and modern, well-equipped facilities. This hospital has been a long-term collaborator with VIMID for previous annual health check-ups.
The health check-up program was divided into two phases:
- Phase 1: Blood tests were conducted directly at VIMID offices.
- Phase 2: Employees visited the hospital for comprehensive health examinations.
This arrangement was designed to save time and minimize disruption to employees’ work schedules while ensuring thorough health assessments.
In addition to general health examinations, employees received comprehensive medical checks conducted by the hospital’s team of doctors and medical staff, covering the following:
- Clinical examinations: Internal medicine, ophthalmology, ENT (ear, nose, throat), and obstetrics & gynecology.
- Paraclinical tests: Abdominal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, breast ultrasound, electrocardiogram (ECG), X-ray, and other diagnostic procedures.
At other VIMID branches nationwide, health check-ups were carried out simultaneously at reputable local hospitals to ensure consistency and high-quality care.

Ms. Thủy – Accounting Executive, shared: “Thanks to the care and attention of the company’s Board of Directors, employees have the opportunity to undergo an annual health check-up. My colleagues and I are very pleased. Not only do we receive routine medical examinations, but we are also advised by doctors on how to take care of our health, including recommendations for specialized screenings to enable timely treatment and prevent complications if any abnormalities are detected. This initiative also helps us save significant healthcare costs, pay more attention to our wellbeing, and focus on our work with peace of mind.”
After the check-ups, the company compiles the results according to health classification, maintains individual health records for monitoring, and shares them with employees. Special attention is given to doctors’ recommendations for cases where health issues are detected.
Health check-ups are a mandatory regulation and company policy aimed at monitoring and detecting early health issues among employees. Regular examinations help identify abnormalities at an early stage, improving the chances of treatment, avoiding complications, and saving time and costs. In addition, periodic health checks provide employees with an overall view of their health, allowing them to adjust their diet, improve their wellbeing, and enhance work productivity. This initiative also demonstrates the genuine care of VIMID’s Board of Directors for the physical and mental wellbeing of their employees.
