VIMID Announces Second Quarrter of 2026 Financial Results, Posting Record Revenue and Profit
Vietnam Machine Investment Development Joint Stock Company (VIMID – HOSE: VVS) has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting continued strong business growth and the highest quarterly revenue and profit in the Company’s operating history.
Notably, in the first six months of the year alone, VIMID achieved 74% of its full-year revenue target and 112% of its full-year profit-before-tax target for 2026, reflecting the Company’s positive growth momentum and the effectiveness of its development strategy.
Revenue and Profit Continue to Surge
According to its financial statements, VIMID recorded revenue of VND 4.256 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, representing an increase of 105% year-on-year.
Profit before tax reached VND 307.4 billion, up 347% year-on-year. These results set new records for quarterly revenue and profit since the Company’s establishment.
For the first six months of 2026, cumulative revenue exceeded VND 7 trillion, equivalent to 74% of the full-year target. Profit before tax reached VND 515.6 billion, fulfilling 112% of the 2026 profit target approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.
These results extend VIMID’s strong growth trajectory following its record revenue and profit performance in 2025. They also demonstrate the Company’s operational capabilities, market expansion capacity, and management efficiency.

Benefiting from a New Growth Cycle in the Transportation Industry
VIMID’s growth momentum has been supported by a combination of favorable market conditions. Public investment disbursement continues to accelerate, while numerous transport infrastructure, seaport, industrial park, and logistics center projects are being implemented nationwide, driving substantial demand for commercial vehicles.
At the same time, the implementation roadmap for new emissions standards is accelerating fleet replacement and vehicle investment. The continued expansion of e-commerce and logistics is also increasing demand for freight transportation throughout the country.
Against this backdrop, VIMID continues to leverage its leading position in the medium- and heavy-duty truck segments. Its nationwide network of 3S service centers provides an integrated range of sales, warranty, maintenance, repair, and genuine spare-parts services. This network provides an important foundation for VIMID to expand its customer service capacity, improve business performance, and strengthen its competitive position.

Accelerating the Implementation of Its Sustainable Development Strategy
Alongside its positive business results, VIMID is progressively implementing its sustainable development strategy, expanding its pioneering role and creating greater value across the commercial vehicle value chain.
On July 22, 2026, during the Green and Intelligent Products Exhibition and the SINOTRUK New Energy Partners Conference organized by Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SDHi), VIMID and SINOTRUK officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to develop a green and intelligent truck ecosystem in Vietnam.
Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate in research and product development, localize new energy trucks, establish specialized service systems, and develop operational solutions tailored to real-world operating conditions in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, the VMASS Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Plant project in Hai Phong is progressing according to schedule. Once operational, the project is expected to strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity, increase the localization rate, progressively develop a comprehensive commercial vehicle value chain, and create a new growth driver for VIMID in the coming period.
Strengthening the Foundation for a New Stage of Development
VIMID’s sustained business growth, together with the coordinated implementation of its strategic manufacturing and green-transition projects, demonstrates the Company’s steady progress in realizing its sustainable development strategy.
As the transportation industry enters a strong growth cycle, logistics demand continues to expand, and the green transition becomes increasingly prominent, VIMID is expected to further capitalize on its distribution network, after-sales capabilities, international partnerships, and manufacturing capacity. These strengths will provide a solid foundation for accelerated growth in the second half of 2026 and the years ahead.
